We work to reduce the amount of organic matter being removed from the property by mulching or composting much of this material on site. By incorporating this natural humus fertilizer back into the ground it increases soil fertility and water holding capacity while sequestering carbon captured from CO2 in the atmosphere back into the earth. Fall leaves which years ago were taken to the landfill are now shredded where they fall or collected and placed on nutrient poor or drought damaged lawns and mulched as organic topdressing. We encourage all of our customers to compost kitchen scraps and their own garden debris while all other pruning clippings and branches are trucked away by us to be chipped and processed into black topsoil.
